This project holds a special place for me, as it was a personal exploration during my early days of learning 3D. Monike was a character that helped me grasp fundamental lighting concepts (rendered in Cinema 4D’s native engine). I also explored basic rigging techniques—not by rigging her myself, but by using a model from Daz 3D and Mixamo and to achieve the poses I envisioned for my compositions.
Later on, Monike was commissioned to illustrate an article for El Gato y La Caja, an online publication that merges science and design to create meaningful impact. The article explored the concept of language, a theme I thoroughly enjoyed conceptualizing and bringing to life visually.
